Famous for its Seven Mile Beach of breathtaking white sand, Grand Cayman is the hub of the islands. This is where you'll land when you fly in on one of the many airlines that service Grand Cayman, including Air Canada, American, Continental and Delta Airlines, Air Jamaica and British Airways. You can continue on to the Sister Islands via Island Air and Cayman Airways.

Canadian and U.S. citizens can either show a passport or proof of citizenship: a valid drivers license and a birth certificate with a raised seal or a notarized copy. Purchases in George Town are duty-free, and all major credit cards and the U.S. dollar are accepted island-wide.
True to our British heritage, driving is on the left side of the road. We caution pedestrians to look both ways carefully before crossing streets. Other things you should know: all forms of nudity are prohibited, including topless bathing. Local custom requires a shirt, dress or beach cover-up when leaving a beach or resort.
Our environment is precious to us and we urge visitors to treat it with care. Posted laws prohibit prohibit the damaging of coral or taking of fish while scuba diving. Turtles and their eggs are also protected, and there are catch limits on lobster and conch. Water skiing is limited to designated areas off Seven Mile Beach.
Our average year-round temperature is 82°F (28°C). Along with the Sister Islands, Grand Cayman is surrounded by coral reefs and the deepest part of the Carribean: the 4-mile deep Cayman Trench, creating the perfect conditions for some of the best diving and snorkelling in the world.
Enjoy one of the world's most spectacular underwater realms at 159 protected diving and snorkeling sites in 80° water with up to 200' visibility. More than 30 dive shops can set you up for your underwater adventure. You can also enjoy the view from the comfort of an air-conditioned submarine.
The North Sound and East End of the island provide the perfect conditions for parasailing, kayaking and wind surfing. Beginners can hone their skills in the calmer waters off of Seven Mile Beach. Charter a boat to fish in waters filled with blue marlin, mahi mahi, tuna and wahoo.
